As a Graphic Designer at Business Insider, some days are filled with creating lead illustrations for news stories or developing the visual identity of a series. I get to collaborate with talented illustrators, developers, and writers on assignments, producing compelling story art for a wide range of topics.

Better Me – series about sustainable living

Better Me is a series focused on sustainable living. I developed the visual direction and created multiple assets, including an animated lead image for the hub page. The animation featured illustrated symbols that represent various aspects of sustainable living. I also commissioned illustrator, Abbey Lossing to create visuals for a storiy on traveling sustainably

Better Me, was recognized by the Anthem Awards. We won the bronze honor under the category "Sustainability, Environment & Climate"

The New Finance Career Path was a series exploring the competitive journey to success on Wall Street. I designed all the custom graphics for the project, creating cohesive photo collages with a limited color palette and illustrated elementsA standout feature was the interactive article, where users could explore the various roads to a career in banking, trading, and corporate buyouts.

Well Charted – series on cruises

BI's "Well Charted" series focused on helping readers choose the best cruises for their lifestyles, personalities, and budgets. Our team created a range of custom thumbnails – some built from original photos using toy cruise ships, paper models, and ornaments, and others combining original photography with stock imagery.

Amazon Prime Day – graphics and ads

Covering Amazon Prime Day is no small feat – I was responsible for creating the lead graphics and a template that allowed the team to easily swap in products. I also designed in-house ads that were featured throughout the Business Insider site.
